Week 13 (November 12-16)
M (A) Set up blogs
Note: If you have not printed your Review, you need to do that BEFORE you set up your blog.
If you have not attached your previous copy of your Review, you need to do that BEFORE you set up your blog.
Alternative assignment on class folder in "P" drive:
Treat each piece you write as a "post."
Include your name, the date, and the name of your overall "series" or "blog" at the top of your post.
Save as yourname+blogname+post#.pdf
Instructions for first "post":
Choose a distinctive name for your blog that reflects something about your interests and focus.
Play around with the “look and feel” of your blog – 5 minutes or so only. Remember, you can always come back to this later.
Spend 10-15 minutes writing your “Welcome” or “About Me” post (see my example). In this post, you should say a little bit about yourself (your reading and writing interests, hobbies, favorite writers – anything that will allow your reader to get to know the writer behind the words on the page). Mention something about what you hope to accomplish or focus on in your blog. (Note: It’s probably best to write this post in Word first, then copy and paste into your blog.)
State that you promise you will adhere to the “Code of Conduct” above.
